ご存知、鈴は魔除けや開運のために用いられ、神社に設けられている鈴は祓い清め（災いを除き幸福と平和をもたらす）や神霊の発動の願いが込められているそうです。
大前さんの窯がある淡路島で採れた土でつくられておりますが、イザナギとイザナミによる「国産み」の際、最初につくられたのも淡路島であり、今回の企画とも縁を感じます。
もちろん、やきものとしても最高です。
どこかの遺跡から掘り出されたかのような器肌と、硬くない成形が侘びた雰囲気を醸し出し、
玉が入っている口部分も経年劣化した金属が開いてきたような作りになっており、本当に何か宿っているかのような気持ちにさせます。
ちなみに、「鈴」なのは形だけでなく、振ると鳴ります！
鈴の音は魔物を追い払い、神を引き寄せる合図なのだそうです。
すんごいぐい呑ですね。
