1948: Born into a Shigaraki ware pottery family in Shigaraki, Koka, Shiga Prefecture, Japan
1966: Completed the Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training School
1967: Joined a pottery workshop at Sennyu-ji Temple, Kyoto
1969: Began apprenticeship under Shunsai Takahashi in Shigaraki
1981: Established an independent studio
2017: Participated in "Kiyotsugu Sawa and Six Emerging Ceramic Artists" at Maruta Pottery
2019: Presented the "Sakura Ceramic Plaque" to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Yasukuni Shrine
2025: Designated Holder of Koka City's Intangible Cultural Property (Ceramics)
