In January 2025, our gallery celebrated its 10th anniversary. We are deeply grateful to everyone whose warm support has made these ten years possible. To mark the occasion, on May 18 we will hold a dinner gathering featuring a live performance by a band we formed together with four artists who have long been associated with our gallery.
At the same time, we will also hold an exhibition featuring works by the band members. Since this is a special occasion, each artist will present a selection of works inspired in some way by the band. Their approaches vary greatly, ranging from extremely direct expressions to rather enigmatic ones. It is fascinating to see how each artist’s personality comes to the surface when they are all working from the same theme.
We will also exhibit yobitsugi works created as a by-product of the kintsugi repair work carried out at our gallery.
All of the artists are scheduled to be at the gallery on the opening day, so we expect it to be a lively occasion. We look forward to welcoming you!
