1971: Born in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, Japan
1992: Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts (Painting III Course), Saga Art College
1994: Studied anagama firing techniques in Shigaraki
2001: Built an anagama kiln in Iga, Mie Prefecture
2003: Relocated his studio within Iga and began exhibiting primarily through solo exhibitions across Japan
2020: Participated in the Monogatari Project exhibition at the Ariana Museum, Geneva, Switzerland, together with painter Uwe Wittwer and poet Jürg Halter
2021: Held a solo exhibition at Complete Works, Geneva, Switzerland
2023: Participated in the Monogatari Project II exhibition at the Gewerbemuseum, Geneva, Switzerland, together with painter Uwe Wittwer and poet Jürg Halter
