1969: Born in Tobe, Iyo District, Ehime, Japan
1988: Completed studies at Aichi Prefectural College of Ceramics
1994: Studied in Iga, Mie, and Shigaraki, Shiga
1999: Moved to Bizen, inspired by Bizen ware
2000: Established his studio and built an anagama kiln in Samukaze, Ushimado
2004: First firing of the kiln
Since then, has held regular solo exhibitions throughout Japan
