1973: Born in Tokyo, Japan
2011: Studied under ceramic artist Ryuichi Kakurezaki
2015: Established an independent studio in Tamano, Okayama
Since then, has held solo exhibitions at major department stores throughout Japan, including Nihombashi Takashimaya, Yokohama Takashimaya, Daimaru Osaka, and Tenmaya
2017: Exhibited at Art Beijing
Exhibited at Révélations – International Fine Craft & Creation Biennial (Paris)
Donated the black Tenmoku tea bowl Kagutsuchi to the Shikinen Sengu project of Kamigamo Shrine
